‘Severe delays’ on busy road after reports of crash between car and motorbike

A busy North Somerset road is blocked this morning (Monday) after reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike.

Drivers on the A370, which connects Weston with South Bristol, are experiencing ‘severe delays’ after the incident in Cleeve.

The AA is reporting traffic is moving slowly both ways between Congresbury and Brockley Combe, with an average speed of 5mph.

Update – 11.45pm

Reports suggest traffic on the A370 is still very heavy between Congresbury and Brockley Combe. First Bus has tweeted its services have been delayed, while North Somerset Council said its waste collection services in Backwell have been affected.
