TWO purring beauties were left abandoned in the chilly January weather outside a charity in Brent Knoll.
Mindy and Myrtle, were left in a box outside the RSPCA earlier this month and now need a loving home to go to.
The two grey and white kittens are thought to be sisters and need to be adopted together.
Manager Nikki Tutton said: "They were very shy and frightened at first but the kittens have settled in and are very friendly.
"Whoever did this was very irresponsible. There are animals waiting for places at the centre but when they are just abandoned we are forced to find them space straight away. Luckily we found them a space this time, but sometimes it can be impossible.
"The kittens were left round the corner from the front door, the person who left them could have easily called in and spoken to us.
"Anyone thinking of buying a pet needs to realise they need to be able to cope financially for 10-15 years and also need to think about homing the animals when they move house."
Anyone interested in adopting Mindy and Myrtle, or any of the other animals at the RSPCA, can call the centre on 01278 782671.
