More than 150 people danced throughout the day and into the night at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre to raise £1,300.

The money will go to the Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) and Together For Short Lives, a charity which supports sick children.

The event’s organiser and fitness instructor Sarah Toms said: “We had a giggle with a retro aerobics session and boogie glow wave session, which included disco lights and funky outfits.”

Sue and Andy Collard have been raising money for the BCRT since their daughter Mary died in 2012. Sue said: “We want to thank everyone for coming, whether it was to take part in the activities or to watch.”
