An air ambulance landed in Burnham-on-Sea yesterday (Sunday) following reports of a man suffering a cardiac arrest.

Great Western Air Ambulance landed in the garden of Alms Houses, in Berrow Road, at 8.50am to assist paramedics who were treating the man.

The crew attended to the man before he was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary by land ambulance.
