THE air ambulance landed in a Weston park this afternoon (Wed).

The critical care team onboard the helicopter was asked to attend an incident where an elderly lady had fallen in a care home close to Ellenborough Park.

Paramedics in a road ambulance, as well as a rapid response vehicle, also attended the incident.

The lady was taken to Weston General Hospital by road, accompanied by the critical care team from the Great Western Air Ambulance.

Her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
