Air cadets from Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge have been given the chance to look around the Royal Air Force’s (RAF’s) largest station.

The cadets and staff from 290 Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets – which is made up of people from Weston, Burnham and Highbridge – have visited RAF Brize Norton.

The day consisted of visits from the survival section and the air refuelling hub, a careers talk and a hands-on experience on a Hercules aircraft.

The cadets also had the chance to speak to serving RAF members about their roles and career progression.
