As part of a home office initiative police community support officers, PCs and specials all took part in the initiative, which aimed to find out what alcohol youngsters were buying and where they were getting it from.
The operation lasted three weekends and more than 200 bottles and cans were seized in North Somerset town centres.
Avon and Somerset Police will now continue a similar initiative to make sure under-age drinkers are moved on from public places.
Alcohol-relate crime officer, PC Karl Waltho, said: "In one night 86 containers were seized.
"Under-age drinking in public places is antisocial and makes people uncomfortable in the areas they live.
