Emergency services called to Weston seafront following incident

Emergency services were called to Weston-super-Mare seafront following an incident this afternoon (Friday).
It took place near the Premier Inn, in Beach Road, with assistance also provided from the air ambulance.
Part of Beach Road was closed, but it has since reopened.
A spokesman for South West Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 1.28pm to an incident affecting one patient.
“We attended with two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle and the air ambulance.
“Road closures are no longer in place.”
No further details have been released at this stage.
