Andy is keeping in touch with the yacht club which is tracking his progress and he was reported to be close to Land’s End earlier today (Wednesday).

Andy is sailing in his boat, named Greenfingers, which he bought last year ready for the epic voyage.

He has spent £200 on sun cream to protect him from the rays and his family and friends have filled USB sticks with photos, TV shows, books and messages to keep him company on the trip.
