Anti-cuts protest at the town hall

NORTH Somerset’s Unison branch is calling on people to show their unhappiness over the council’s cuts to young people’s services at a special public protest next month.
Members will be on Weston High Street on November 9 between noon and 2pm to talk to the public about ‘massive cuts’ which they say will hit the most vulnerable hardest.
And they will also lobby the council outside the town hall ahead of the Special Budget Council meeting from 5.30pm on November 15.
North Somerset Council announced earlier this year it needs to make £47million worth of cuts over the next four years.
