A 26-YEAR-OLD woman who was on holiday with her boyfriend died in a car accident near Cheddar on Sunday (Oct 8).Anna Sylvia Fijal, from Poland, was killed when the Peugeot 306 she was travelling in collided with a Ford Ranger on a right hand bend on Shipham Road. The travel agent, who was travelling in the back of the car, was only three days into her holiday in England and was staying with friends in Bristol.Another female who was in the car with Anna was taken to the Bath Royal United Hospital by air ambulance and two men in the car were taken to Weston General Hospital.Three people had to be freed from the car by firefighters from Cheddar, Weston and Winscombe. The driver of the other car only suffered minor injuries.Anna's body will be flown back to Poland for burial.Police are keen to speak to the drivers of two vehicles, a silver 4x4 and a green car, who may have witnessed the accident, which took place shortly after 9.30am.Anyone who can help should call the police collision investigation unit on 0845 4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
