A MAN was attacked and robbed in Burnham as he walked home.The 49-year-old victim was walking home through the car park of the Lighthouse pub in Highbridge Road at about 11.30pm on January 25 when he was set upon.As he walked past the bus shelter next to the pub he was attacked by two men who took his money and left him with minor injuries.The two offenders, who were described as white, of medium build and aged between 19-23, ran off down the path which runs from Highbridge Road to Broadhurst Gardens.One man was wearing a grey hooded top and the other a white hooded top.The police are interested in speaking to two motorists who were driving down Highbridge Road and slowed down when the victim ran into the road. They would also like to speak to anyone who was in the pub at the time, especially a man who ran after the offenders and anyone who saw a group of youths in Marine Drive at the back of the Lighthouse pub between 11-11.30pm.Anyone who can help should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or Burnham Police Station on 08454 567000.
