POLICE are appealing for information after a man caused damage to a shop in Weston town centre.

The incident happened on Meadow Street at around 9am on March 20 and police are looking to speak to a man who they believe may have information about the incident.

A statement from Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “A man entered a shop on the street and got into an altercation with staff.

“He became aggressive and caused damage to the inside of the shop.

“We are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak with. We would like anyone who recognises the man shown, or has any information about the incident, to contact us.”
