CCTV images: Man threatens woman with knife in Worle bookmakers armed robbery

A woman working at a bookmakers in Worle was threatened with a knife during an armed robbery.

A man walked into the Coral bookmakers, in Queensway, on Monday at around 7.36pm and threatened the employee.

She handed over the money, and he left the store, heading towards Wansborough Road.

The suspect is white, and the victim said he spoke with a Birmingham accent.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary has released these CCTV images, and anyone who recognises the man or saw anyone acting suspiciously around the store should contact the police.
