A WESTON man has been arrested after police seized more than £500,000 of cocaine, thousands of pounds in cash and a 10-tonne press in a massive drugs bust.During an investigation involving 70 officers, police searched homes in Winterstoke Road, Weston, Crewkerne, Bath, Bristol and Whitchurch and confiscated 10kg of cocaine, before arresting four people for supplying class A drugs.A 40-year-old man from Weston was arrested along with three other men from Whitchurch, Crewkerne and Bath.Detective Chief Superintendent Geoff Anderson said: "This is a major success for us and I hope it will send a very strong message to anyone involved in drug-related crime in this force area."We will now pursue further lines of enquiry in relation to the people we have arrested over the past 24 hours and their associates, and look at other criminality and other options available to us, including the possibility of applying for confiscation orders."We will be relentless in our pursuit of drug dealers and are determined to do everything we can to make a significant impact on serious and organised crime in this area.
