A SPECIALIST police firearms unit had to stop a bus to arrest three boys who were carrying imitation guns.The youngsters were followed around Weston and Worle by a police helicopter after a boy was spotted outside Wyvern Community School in Marchfields Way armed with what was believed to be a gun.The youngster joined two other boys and two girls and all five boarded a bus together. They were followed by the helicopter, a firearms unit and other police officers.The firearms unit stopped the bus at the junction of Tavistock Road and Locking Road in Worle and arrested the three boys, two aged 13 and one aged 12.They were taken to Weston Police Station where they were formally reprimanded. Three imitation firearms were seized by police.The two girls were spoken to by police at the scene and sent home. The incident happened at about 4.40pm on Wednesday.
