Arrests made in Grove Park incidents

POLICE have arrested two men in connection with incidents at Grove Park in Weston last week.

The men, aged 17 and 18, were arrested on suspicion of theft, assault and burglary on Saturday and are currently on bail pending further enquiries, with conditions including an overnight curfew.

The arrests relate to an incident at around 6pm on Friday when a man was punched in the face before having his glasses stolen as well as a break-in to the Grove Park Cafe between 5.30pm on Friday and 7am on Saturday where sweets, crisps and drinks were stolen.

Mark Jenkins, Neighbourhood sergeant, said: “Our investigations into these incidents are continuing.
