AN ART and craft evening with wine and canopies has raised £1,760 for charity.

Staff at the Oak and Glass restaurant in Uphill hosted the event in conjunction with North Somerset charity Crossroads Care.

The charity provides help and support for children aged five to 18 who act as carers for their families.

The evening proved a big hit and money was raised through ticket sales and an art auction with products from local artists.
