An art exhibition is being held in Cheddar.

ARTISTS will be showing off their work during a festival in Cheddar this weekend.

The Cheddar Arts Fringe Festival launched in May, where there were demonstrations and exhibitions throughout the village.

After the success of the event, where 16 artists and craftsmen displayed their work, another festival has been organised for this weekend.

It will launch on Friday at the Café Sketch Gallery in Union Street with a preview event running from 6-9pm.

The festival will then continue at the gallery on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.

Items on display and for sale will include ceramics, watercolours, handmade jewellery and sculptures.

There will also be textiles, glass and calligraphic art.

Entry into the exhibition will be free.
