Artists are being given the chance to have their work featured in Weston Museum for up to 10 years.

Weston Town Council wants to commission an artist to design, produce and install a piece of work for the courtyard area.

The museum is currently undergoing a refurbishment, but the council wants to add an art installation in time for its opening in August 2017.

The artist will work with a secondary school on the project, which is dependent on a £10,000 grant from Arts Council England.

Artists can express their interest up until March 18.
