A man is in police custody for allegedly dressing up in sexualised clothing in North Somerset.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary issued a warning on Saturday morning of a man 'jumping out at people' in Claverham and Yatton.
Reports on social media surfaced over the weekend showing a photograph of what appeared to be a person in a black body suit, which covered their face and had red slit eyes.
The person was said to have performed sexual gestures in public.
Police today (Monday) arrested a man in connection with their enquiries.
A force spokesman said: "We've arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of indecency offences in the Claverham and Yatton area.
"It follows 14 reports of a man approaching people while wearing disguises, one of which was a black body suit.
"The man is currently in custody and enquiries into the series are ongoing."
Anyone with information about the alleged incidents was told at the weekend to call 101 and quote reference number 5219158435.
