Independent people are being sought to sit on police officer misconduct hearing panels by Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens wants individuals who are committed to high standards of conduct and judgement.
Ms Mountstevens said: “In cases where an officer may have fallen below standards, local people have the right to expect the matter will be dealt with thoroughly and fairly.
“This role requires the ability to make fair and evidence based judgements about an officer’s conduct as well as deciding on appropriate sanctions.
“As an impartial voice on the panel, your role will also provide assurance to our communities.”
The closing date for applications is June 1 at noon.
