NORTH Somerset Museum has been given two top awards.
The museum in Burlington Street, Weston, is now a Quality Assured Visitor Attraction and an Accredited Museum.
The attraction was rated by mystery shoppers and assessed on cleanliness, friendliness of staff and the quality of displays as part of the accreditation scheme run by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
Cllr Ian Peddlesden, North Somerset Council's executive member responsible for the museum, said: "This is an acknowledgement of the effort made by all the staff and volunteers who work in the museum, of which they should justly be proud of.
