Devoted fundraisers were presented with awards by the Yatton branch of the Royal British Legion last week.

The Poppy Appeal Presentation Awards took place at St Mary’s Church, in Church Road, and were attended by more than 30 people.

A spokesman for the legion said: “Long service awards were given to 19 members from the Yatton, Cleeve and Claverham areas, totalling an amazing 395 years.”
