CCTV images released after car theft

Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after a car was stolen in broad daylight.

The incident occurred on August 7, in Axbridge’s High Street.

The man is described as white and at the time of the incident he was wearing a grey top, dark trousers and trainers.

A spokesman for the police said: “The incident occurred at approximately 1pm on August 7 in High Street, Axbridge.

“The CCTV images are of a male we believe may be able to assist us with our enquiries.

“If you recognise this male, please contact Crimestoppers by calling 08005 55111, Crimestoppers will never ask your name or trace your call.
