n THESE baby badgers will be the stars of the show when Secret World Wildlife Rescue opens its doors to the public this Easter weekend.

The trio, named Little Star, Vogue and Scrumpy, are being cared for in special incubators in the East Huntspill kitchen of charity founder Pauline Kidner.

The Mercury reported in February how Little Star weighed just 80 grams and was incredibly weak when Secret World volunteers rescued her. Now, after careful rehabilitation, she weighs more than a kilo and is said to be thriving.

Visitors to Secret World’s annual Badger Bonanza event will be able to catch a glimpse at the black and white trio along with other orphans, such as fox cubs and hedgehogs. The centre will be open from 10am-4pm from Good Friday through to Easter Monday, and donations are requested in lieu of admission.
