A team from Backwell will once again don their Santa suits and jump on their motorbikes to raise cash for a children’s charity.
Henry Matyjasik, his son Lance, and 10-year-old granddaughter Charlotte, will be taking part in the Santa’s On A Bike event, which sees people dress as Father Christmas from across Somerset and Wales cruise from Dick Lovett BMW Motorrad, in Cribbs Causeway, to Charlton Farm Children’s Hospice in Wraxall in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.
The annual event which attracts hundreds of riders each year, raises funds for the children’s charity which provides help, support and palliative care to more than 500 families a year whose children suffer from life-limiting illnesses.
Henry said: “Last year the two of us raised £635 and this year we are hoping to exceed that amount.”
