A MAN who was arrested after an incident at a Weston nightclub has had his bail extended.

Emergency services and police were called to VII nightclub in Princess Royal Square at 2.50am on August 19 soon after 23-year-old Joe Williams was removed from the club.

He was immediately taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with a bleed on the brain, where he remained on life-support for three days.

However, he died at the hospital during the evening of August 23.

A man in his 20s - believed to be a doorman at the club - was arrested on August 19 and was bailed pending further inquiries.
