Easter weekend is already causing heavy traffic in Weston-super-Mare this afternoon (Thursday), including on the motorway.

People heading away from the town for the weekend face delays in St Georges, near North Somerset Courthouse, today as queues to get onto the M5 at junction 21 stretch back as far as Worle.

There is also heavy traffic along the A370 by Hutton Moor, with queues stretching along the main road past Airport Roundabout and towards West Wick roundabout, near Morrisons.

Locking Road also has minor delays from the town centre to Locking Moor Road and there are minor delays on Milton Road, between the Boulevard and Ashcombe Park.
