THE first members of the general public have been allowed into Banksy's Dismaland today (Saturday), with hundreds still waiting in a queue outside the Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare.

Yesterday (Friday) the Mercury have 1,000 people from North Somerset the chance to get the first look at the exhibition, but today it has opened to the general public.

Tickets were due to be sold online but after technical issues Dismaland’s ticketing system was changed.

But today hundreds of people joined a queue on the beach lawns ahead of the doors to the exhibition opening at 11am.

Dismaland is open now until 11pm and can hold up to 2,000 people at a time. The first 2,000 tickets will be given out on a first come, first served basis and after they have gone the site will operate on a one in, one out system.
