DOZENS of children and their care providers wore their favourite pyjamas to raise money for charity.
The Childminding Network Group, which is run out of Banwell Children’s Centre in West Street, was awash with superheroes, fluffy animals and other novelty nightwear outfits during the day of fun.
The event was held to raise money for the National Autistic Society as part of its awareness campaign this week.
The charity offers practical support to people with the condition and their families
The weekly group also has a branch in Locking – which also held its own pyjama party for the occasion.
Across two days last week, the children were given cakes and juice in exchange for a small donation, which will be passed on to the charity.
