FOUR candidates will be vying for a post on Nailsea Town Council at an election tomorrow (Thurs).A vacancy has come up in the Golden Valley Ward after Cllr Sean Jennings resigned.Residents will be able to vote for Robin Bell, Geof Delmege, Richard Rogers or Joy Theis to fill the role.Joy, of Bucklands Drive, has been a school governor for seven years as well as a parish councillor in Backwell.Geof, aged 62, of Beech Drive, is a retired RAF officer and has been a school governor at Golden Valley Primary School for three years.Robin Bell, of Whiteoak Way, and Richard Rogers, of Silver Street, will also be hoping for success as independent councillors.People will be able to vote for a candidate between 7am and 10pm at Golden Valley Primary School in Nailsea Park.There is also a vacancy in the Yeo ward after the resignation of Cllr David Gray. Only one candidate, Jane Holt, has shown an interest in the post and she will be elected to the post, unopposed.
