Engines will be revving on October 18-19, when the event returns for a 32nd year.

Weston beach will again be transformed as the sand is sculpted to make a great spectacle for visitors and a challenge for all the riders.

Three of the riders headed down to the seafront on Thursday to inspect the site they will soon be racing on.

Huge crowds are again expected to flock to watch the annual showpiece this year and tickets are now available to buy from www.rhlactivities.com.

Thousands of spectators watched the 2013 races across the two days in what organisers said was an ‘impressive’ turnout in tough and ‘atrocious’ conditions.
