Beavers and cubs helped to transform a courtyard into a sensory garden for residents at Winscombe Hall Care Centre.
More than 30 beavers and cubs from 1st Locking Spitfires and Tornados spent the day building a herb garden, planting hanging baskets and flower beds, and putting up the artwork.
The courtyard now features colourful flowers, fruit trees, solar lights, wall art, water barrels, wind chimes, bird feeders and comfortable seating.
Annie Cowell, from the care centre, said: “Our residents had a fabulous day watching the project come to life and now have a beautiful space for peace, relaxation, gardening, meeting friends and family.”
Staff thanked the beavers and cubs and all the businesses who donated to the project.
The beavers and scouts will continue to use the courtyard for camping, barbecues and to spend time with the residents.
