An ‘atmospheric’ dance piece will be performed in one of Cheddar’s caves this weekend.

Choreographer Katie Green and her dance trio will perform Beneath Out Feet in Gough’s Cave as part of the Cheddar Arts Fringe Festival.

The 50-minute dance performance is also set to include live music from singer-songwriter Lou Vilstrup.

Katie said: “The team at the site and the festival have been so supportive of this project since we first started developing it last year, and we will spend time on site in advance of the performances developing the content of the piece.

“It will truly be a one-of-a-kind event which tells the story of Gough’s Cave to audiences in a brand new way.”

There will be performances at 5pm and 6.15pm from Friday to Sunday with an additional 7.30pm show on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets, priced £11-12, are available at and include access to the caves.
