With the challenge just a few days old, there have already been some top-quality images of the pier submitted to the website, and we have picked out a few of the outstanding entries so far. Nick Page Hayman submitted a beautiful sunset snap of the pier, with the gloom descending above the pavilion.

James Walters delved into his album to submit an expertly-captured picture of a Vulcan bomber soaring above the pier at the air festival in 2015. Mike Davies took an inventive picture of the pier through the reflection of a puddle on the beach, while Sally Griffiths found a brilliant vantage point to look down on the landmark from above.
