At 7.30pm on December 9, a group of five teenage boys posed as carol singers in the village and stole a number of items from a property when the owner went to get some money to pay them.

Two wallets containing more than £400, a mobile phone, a PSP games console, a driving licence and other documents were taken from the house.

The youngsters were described as white and aged between 15 and 18 years old. One of them was around 5ft 10ins tall and wore a baseball cap and tracksuit.
