Exciting experiments were on the timetable at a celebration of science and technology in Weston on Saturday.
The Big Bang @ Weston science show saw universities and colleges fill the Winter Gardens with thrilling experiments and activities.
Children learnt how to freeze flowers with dry ice, explored miniature worlds under the microscope and drew pictures with robots.
Youngsters were also able to enjoy virtual reality space exploration, learnt about astronaut training, programme robot cars and assemble models of the human body.
There was also a flight simulator and experiments with electricity and circuits.

Children also got to talk to scientists and engineers from all over the country.
