A BIG breakfast morning helped raise more than £650 for Weston Hospicecare on Saturday.
Blagdon residents gave up their free time to rally round for the hospice as the event, held in the village club, was well attended and well enjoyed by hungry residents.
Visitors enjoyed full English breakfasts and bacon butties, which were on sale into the afternoon.
One of the higlights included a cake raffled off for £70, as donations exceeded organisers’ expectations.
Co-ordinator Tina Smith said: “It was very successful, very well attended by local people and everyone mucked in.”
