Hundreds of people attended throughout the event on Sunday, where firemen offered a variety of demonstrations of their work with fires and road traffic collisions.

Families, in particular, enjoyed the station’s open day with plenty of children given a tour of the various specialist vehicles and shown the ropes with some fire-fighting equipment and protective gear.
