A GRAND celebration will be held in Weston to commemorate the completion of the Big Wild Read.
All children in North Somerset who completed the challenge of reading six books over the summer have been entered into a draw to win tickets to the celebrations, which will be held at the Winter Gardens on Weston seafront on October 1 at 6.30pm.
As well as receiving a certificate, the families attending will hear a talk by children's author Heather Dyer.
More than 4,300 children started the reading challenge and about 2,100 managed to read six books.
