An open day in Worle gave people the chance to have their say on what they would like to see happen and improved where they live.
The Big Worle Hub, in Clovelly Road, hosted an open day to show people the activities it runs.
It gave volunteers at Big Worle the chance to learn more about what people would like to see happen in the area.
Big Worle was set up in 2011 when it was given £1million to improve part of Worle.
It became a registered charity last year with the aim of continuing weekly groups and supporting projects.
Firefighters and the police were also at the open day to talk to families, and children had their faces painted and played with giant bubbles. People could also press apples to make their own apple juice.
Big Worle’s new schemes include a running club, a Citizens Advice Bureau drop-in and a holiday club for children during the summer.
Suggestions on the open day included improving public spaces, such as the underpass, and creating a Worle festival.
