Big zumba class

PUBLISHED: 16:00 01 October 2011

A PAIR of slimmers are working together to organise what they hope will be Weston’s biggest zumba class.

Debbie Orbell, who runs a number of Slimming World groups in Weston, has teamed up with Trish Abbotts to organise the charity event.

They have gained the help and support of Rane Spandler from Rane Fitness to make sure the day goes well.

The class is suitable for all levels, from beginner to the more advanced, or male or female.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness workout sweeping the world. It incorporates various dance steps such as salsa and merengue.

The event takes place on October 8, between noon and 2pm at Weston Football Club in Winterstoke Road.

The cost will be £5, payable on arrival at the event, with all proceeds going to the Cots for Tots Appeal, for St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol.
