A GRATEFUL biker returned to Weston General Hospital to present £200, a year after his life was saved following a heart attack.

George ‘Zippy’ Earle, aged 59, and his wife Christine were in Weston last year on holiday from their home in Oxford, when he collapsed at Brean Sands and was rushed to hospital. To say ‘thank you’, George, Christine and members of the Caldarium Motor Cycle Club organised a motorcycle rally with bands playing and a raffle. The money will now be spent on resuscitation equipment at the hospital.
