Archant

The Birnbeck Regeneration Trust has issued an appeal for information after one of the buildings overlooking the crumbing pier was vandalised.

The roof of the Pier Master’s Cottage, which sits close to Birnbeck Pier in Birkett Road, Weston-super-Mare, was damaged at some point between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

A Trust spokesman said: “Vandalising the roof of the old Pier Master’s Cottage serves no purpose whatsoever – particularly when out of all the buildings, this one is in the best condition.”
