A FIRE broke out at The Royal Portbury Dock in the early hours of this morning (Tues).
Four pumps from Avonmouth, Pill and Portishead were called to Marsh Lane at 5.04am after a coal stacking machine caught alight.
The machinery is used to skim coal from the heat and put it on to a conveyor belt.
The blaze caused substantial damage to the machinery but nobody was hurt.
