MEMBERS of a North Somerset family have spoken of their holiday ordeal after a Turkish resort was hit by a bomb which killed and injured dozens of people.Anne Southwood and Jason Prior, from Winscombe, flew into Antalya airport in Turkey on August 24 for a last minute holiday with Anne's 11-year-old son Zack. The centre of Antalaya, a popular tourist destination, was hit by a massive explosion five days later.Luckily the family (pictured above) , who live in The Lynch, had booked an apartment in a different resort. But John, a mental health support worker, said they were still fearful of what could happen while they were in Turkey. The 34-year-old said: "Everything about the bombings was on my mind when we flew back from Antalya on Wednesday. It is worrying that you can just end up in the firing line like that."People over there just seem confused about what has happened."Anne said her family back home was so worried her father called them to check they were safe. The blast in Antalya came just hours after three bombs went off in Marmaris and one in Istanbul, injuring at least another 20 people.
