A FREE pilot scheme which will enable North Somerset residents to borrow bikes for a fortnight is being launched this week.

North Somerset Council has joined forces with Weston’s Bicycle Chain to allow cyclists to borrow hybrid, electric or folding bikes to those who want to get cycling a try. The new scheme is called Borrow a Bike.

To take advantage of the Department of Transport funded scheme, cyclists need to pick up a voucher from Travel+ presentations held by local employers or by emailing sustainable.travel@n-somerset.gov.uk
