THE multi-millionaire boss of Ryanair has hit national headlines after reportedly telling airport campaigners in North Somerset to 'get a f****** life'.Michael O'Leary launched the verbal attack on those campaigning against the expansion of Bristol International Airport (BIA) when he visited the site on last Sunday (Oct 14) to launch new flight routes to France. He reportedly said: "They bang on about how the end of the world is nigh because of global warming - but it's not."Ryanair has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 50 per cent. We're doing this despite tighter demands being put on us all the time."But it won't stop the Swampys of this world climbing up trees to protest about airlines and airports. They should all get a job and get a f***ing life."Susan Pearson, of Stop Bristol Airport Expansion, said: "His comments are ridiculous. Our campaign is made up of a widespread cross-section of the community."He should take note that Swampy's campaigns were very effective in changing the course of the Government's road building plans in the 1990s"The 17 new Ryanair flights will take passengers to Bergerac, Beziers and Pau.Susan said: "These are primarily holiday destinations, which will take more money out of the South West."BIA has repeatedly said its growth is good for the local economy without ever backing up its statements with facts and figures."Mr O'Leary has claimed the new routes would bring another 1,000 jobs to the region.
