A WOMAN from Weston-super-Mare has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply.

A 37-year-old woman, from the Bournville area, was arrested at 10.20am today (Friday).

The arrest came after the Bournville and Oldmixon One Team obtained a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act after finding what they believed to be amphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Neighbourhood PC Alice Durston said: “We need people to keep talking to us so we can continue to take action to make life better for people in our area.”

PCSOs have since patrolled the area to deliver information about the action they had taken to neighbouring homes.

The woman remains in police custody.
